Geely EC-7 Awarded Five Star C-NCAP Safety Rating

The Geely EC-7 is Geely’s second model which has achieved five stars in the C-NCAP test after the Geely Panda was appraised as the only five-star A00-Class car. The EC-7 is one of the first self developed Chinese sedans that have gained a 5-star safety accolade scoring a total of 46.8 points from the National Passenger Car Quality Supervision and Inspection Centre the safety body responsible for crash testing cars. The EC-7 also acquired the highest score on this examination among residential independent brands. The EC-7 model is designed according to European and American standards.

The Geely EC-7 five-star performance manifests that Geely has hit a historical high in automobile safety control, fully exemplifying Geely’s advanced production and safety technology. It also means that the company is mature enough to compete with foreign automakers.
